David Sr. picked up 3D printing as a stress reliever. No plan, no storefront — just something to do at the end of a long day, watching an idea take shape layer by layer.
Then people started noticing. That's really nice. That's creative. Can I buy that? And always the same question: why did you make that?
"Because I can."Said with a proud smile. It's still the answer.
People started asking for things — a piece for a coach, a bust of a grandparent, a topper for an anniversary. Every request landed like a challenge, and every challenge got accepted. And when the pieces came back finished, people weren't just satisfied. They were genuinely, visibly happy.
They wanted to pay. There was no mechanism for that — the closest thing to a price was "cover the filament." That's the gap this business grew into. Keepsake Foundry is what happened when a hobby kept getting asked to be more.
We made our own family first.
Before we ever took an order, we made pieces for the people closest to us — our wedding photo as a cake topper, the kids' game days, a 67th anniversary rendered from one photo taken at the party.
That's still the standard. Every commission gets the same treatment we gave our own: one artist, one family's story, and a finish we'd be proud to put on our own mantel.
We're a small studio in Georgia, not a factory. That's the point.
Yes — we rendered ourselves too.

You approve before we print
Every commission includes a digital render for your review. Nothing goes to the printer until you've seen it and told us it's right.
Your photos stay yours
We use your photos to make your piece — that's it. We never share them, and your commission stays private unless you tell us otherwise.
We stand behind the work
If a piece arrives damaged or doesn't match the render you approved, we fix it or remake it. No argument.
